Located at Baluwatar, Nepal Mayur House is considered by visitors to be the best place for a secure and peaceful holiday in Kathmandu. It is within walking distance from the Prime Minister’s official residence, reserve bank of Nepal center office and the Russian , Chinese and norwegian embassies .
Nepal Mayur House is situated in beautiful garden setting which incorporates the principle of eco friendliness. We do not use chemicals and pesticides within in our compound. Rain water harvesting and energy surveying technology is being used in our building. Since Kathmandu is passing through a limited supply of water and electricity, we appreciate judicious use of water and electricity by our guest.
Nepal is located in an ‘earthquake prone’ zone. Hence due consideration was given in the use of material and earthquake proof techniques during the construction of the building. Recent seismic assessment (conducted by the US Embassy in Kathmandu) indicates that the Nepal mayur house building can withstand an earthquake with a magnitude of 9 rector scale with minor damages. We do not pretend to offer five star hotel facilities to our guests. However, we do provide our guests with a homely atmosphere and a feeling of peace and security.
We are pleased to inform our guest that income from their stay at Nepal mayur house is need to found charitable activities in Nepal. Recently we have sociated a three years project of providing mid day meal to 200 childrens of public school at Nagarkot.
Nepal mayur house is being managed by Solution Tours and Travels (STT) under a contract. STT is a full service tour agency that provides travel and tour related services through out Nepal.
